"What do you want to give me?

if I give it to you?"

They gave him thirty pieces of silver.

          And since then, Judas has been looking for a favourable opportunity

to deliver it.

          The first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread,

the disciples came and said to Jesus:

"Where do you want us to make the preparations?

to eat Passover?"

          He said to them:

"Go to the city, to so-and-so's house,

and say to him:

"The Master makes you say:

My time is near;

I want to celebrate Passover with you

with my disciples.

          The disciples did as Jesus had instructed them

          During the meal, he said:

"Amen, I say to you:

one of you is going to hand me over."

          Deeply saddened,

they began to ask him in turn:

"Could it be me, Lord?"

          Speaking, he said:

"The one who helped himself to the dish at the same time as me,

this one's going to hand me over.

                   The Son of Man is leaving,

as it says about him;

but the unfortunate one

by whom the Son of Man is delivered up!

It would be better for him if he had never been born,

that man!"

          Judas, the one who betrayed him,
