«I am reading the Holy Gospel. Everything Our Lord said is so well said, and we must strive to put it into practice! Let us always study this beautiful book; do not stop reading it, so that you may put into practice what you find there; this will be our rule, as you know…» With these words, Father Antoine Chevrier, a priest of the Diocese of Lyon in France and founder of the Prado, invites us to share in his experience of studying Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Gospel.

The Constitution of the Association of Prado Priests state: «To grow in our knowledge of Jesus Christ, we commit ourselves to studying the Gospel regularly and to putting it into practice in our lives. Whether individually or together, we will devote considerable time to this spiritual study: «Whoever wishes to be filled with the Spirit of God must study Our Lord every day—His words, His examples, His life; this is the source from which we draw life, the Spirit of God.» We will make this study a genuine endeavor that takes into account the entirety of Scripture. We will carry it out in the simplicity of faith, according to the tradition of the Church, in solidarity with the poor with whom we share our lives.» (Constitutions, No. 37)

We've decided to share a few articles with you about The Pradosian Approach to the Study of the Gospel, as well as various « Studies of the Gospel »on a variety of topics, with texts that are the result of putting these principles into practice.".
