The Diocese of Rome has entrusted the parish of Santa Maria del Soccorso (Via del Badile, 1 – Tiburtina) to the Association of Priests of the Prado, in accordance with our status as diocesan priests.

  • A parish priest assisted by a parish assistant priest manages the day-to-day affairs of the parish and maintains ties with the priests of the Roman presbytery.
  • The the charm of the Prado It urges us to go to the outskirts of the city as well as to the existential peripheries to proclaim the Gospel to the poor in the manner of Father Chevrier, and as Pope Francis reminds us today. It is a significant sign that the Prado is at the heart of the Catholic faith. Forming a community that maintains the desire to follow Jesus Christ more closely, to let itself be guided by the Spirit of God, to reach out to the poor, and to live in brotherhood—this, too, was Father Chevrier’s desire.
  •  The presence of the Pradosians in Rome will help to establish Father Chevrier’s charism among the priests of the Diocese of Rome.

The Prado team in Rome is also responsible for supporting student priests who are affiliated with the Prado. This makes it possible to continue to follow either The first training session and also events featuring continuing education. These gatherings are also open to other priests who sympathize with or are interested in discovering Father Chevrier’s spirituality, which is deeply rooted in the identity of the diocesan priest.
