"Living the Fraternity with the poorest by listening to the spiritual needs of each person".
This meeting, which will be held on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 February 2026 at Valpré-Lyon, is aimed at anyone working in a faith-based organisation or one inspired by the values of a religion, and who is considering the place of spirituality at the heart of their organisation in the context of secularism. The aim is to work together to find ways of meeting the spiritual needs of people living in precarious conditions and of those who support them.
The life situations of people in precarious situations reveal the spiritual dimension of their lives. They refer to it in their own words. Sometimes they speak of it as what enables them to stand on their own two feet, expressing a fundamental need. " When everything falls apart, that's what remains! "
At the heart of your mission, this raises questions, bothers and blocks you.
This session is designed to take account of all your questions. Testimonials, presentations, round tables and small-group discussions will provide an opportunity to explore these issues in greater depth.
