"Dear brothers and sisters, I invite you to return again and again to the magnificent figure of your founder, to meditate on his life and to ask for his intercession. The authentic spiritual experience that he lived intensely - immense compassion for the poor, understanding and sharing their suffering, and at the same time contemplating the self-denial of Christ who made himself one of them - was the source of his apostolic zeal and will be the source of your missionary dynamism. It will be the source of your missionary dynamism. (Pope Francis on the occasion of the visit to Rome in 2018)

The blessing of the icon of Father Chevrier and the accompanying Novena is being held to promote Father Chevrier's "reputation for holiness" within the international Pradosian family and the Church of Lyon.
