Meeting of bishops invited to Limonest

12 bishops from around the world (Brazil, Madagascar, Vietnam, Egypt, Turkey, etc.) invited by the Institute of Prado Priests will be present from 23 to 28 May 2024 at the Prado House in Limonest (France). They will be welcomed by the leaders and members of the Prado General Council, including Fathers Armando PASQUALOTTO (Italy), Luc LALIRE (France), Sergio BRAGA DOS SANTOS NETO (Brazil), Joseph NIKIEMA, Damiano MEDA (Italy), Youssef ASSAF and Bienvenu BABINDAMA KOKANI.

On the programme for this meeting, which is both spiritual and fraternal, are a number of talks on a variety of themes, including those given by the fathers:

• • Damiano MEDA (Prado Italy), author of a thesis on Antoine Chevrier,

• • Jaume FONTBONA (Prado of Spain), lecturer at the University of Barcelona,

• • Philippe CHATAGNON (Prado France), resident in Limonest,

• • Youssef ASSAF (Prado d'Orient), parish priest in Beirut, Armando PASQUALOTTO (General Manager of Prado) and Luc LALIRE (1^er assistant to the Prado).

Based on the three axes of Father Chevrier's spirituality, the bishops will be able to share their ministry to the poor and suffering, their love for the least and their proclamation of Jesus Christ to the poor.
Two episcopal figures will illustrate these themes: St François de Sales and Mgr Ancel, auxiliary bishop of Lyon and superior of Prado, whose 40th death anniversary we will be celebrating.
