On October 5, diocesan priests from Gitega, Burundi—who are friends of the Prado or who wish to learn more about Prado spirituality—gathered to to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the beatification of Blessed Antoine Chevrier.

A wonderful opportunity to bring to life and share the spirituality of the Prado—far beyond Lyon—with priests who wish to deepen their understanding of the path laid out by Father Chevrier: « Knowing Jesus Christ is everything. »

This news is brought to us by the’Father Boniface, a Pradosian sympathizer, who thus attests to the vitality of the Prado in Burundi.

Among the participants is Jaume Antoni Obrador Adover, a priest from Majorca, currently the only priest serving at Prado in Burundi. Alongside him are an Italian priest and several fellow priests from Gitega, all of whom gathered, in particular, for the Prado retreat in June 2024.

A fraternal presence that bears witness to how, through these gatherings, the spirituality of the Prado continues to be passed on and to reach priests in every corner of the world.
